Nick Crampton - Service and Experience Designer, Strategist, Facilitator, Potter

Nick is a leader and facilitator with 15 years experience and a passion for building thriving teams across industries, and ranging from small consultancies to large corporations.

Nick’s superpower is nurturing the culture and craft that help diverse teams succeed in uncharted territory, especially in organizations that haven’t yet experienced the strategic value of human-centered design first-hand.

Nick has spoken at events including SXSW, UX Week, IXDA, Service Design Network, and Social Table, and has facilitated design thinking trainings and workshops with over a thousand participants and counting across North America.

With his roots in service design, UX, research, and strategy, Nick is passionate about establishing and demonstrating the value of human-centered design practices at scale. Most recently, Nick was head of Experience Strategy at SVB where he established and led a team of researchers and service designers within SVB’s Product Design group that led cross-functional initiatives across the company to uncover unmet client and employee needs to inform prioritization of future-state experiences across digital and human-powered touchpoints.

Outside of work, Nick loves cycling, cooking and baking for friends and family, and making pottery.
