Discover the transformative power of equine assisted coaching and embark on a unique journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

Equine-assisted coaching can truly be a transformative experience. Horses have this incredible ability to offer feedback without judgment, creating a safe space for personal exploration. Interacting with them can soothe your soul, easing stress and lifting your spirits. It’s been proven that interacting with horses can help with system regulation (heart, blood pressure, mental stress). Through these interactions with horses, you'll gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions, and how you communicate with others. It's a hands-on learning journey that touches your heart and leaves a lasting impact on your personal growth. Want to learn more? Don’t be shy - leave a note!

Equine-assisted coaching is available on site in Livermore, CA and Petaluma, CA. If you are a barn looking for a practitioner, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Horses help us reflect

Horses can respond to unspoken emotions and behaviors, telling us more about our truth. Even when we don’t even realize what’s there.

FAQs

What if I’m afraid of horses?

We’ll take things according to your comfort level. Nothing is forced fun - our horses are calm, and evaluated to ensure safety for the participant. Equine assisted coaching can also be done through observation without getting too close to the horse. We’re focused on relationships and creating space to reflect and learn.

What does a typical session look like?

If it’s our first session, we’ll go through a brief introduction to the property, talk about safety, open with a brief conversation on what might be present, then continue our work in partnership with a horse. Overall, expect 60 minutes for our entire session. Activities will vary based on what is present that day.

Is there a way to see how a session might look like?

We do offer demos periodically. See our Calendar for updated times. Otherwise, please don’t hesitate to reach out to inquire about our demo days.

Will I get to ride a horse?

Equine assisted coaching will not include any mounted work.

What should I wear/bring?

Be sure to wear layered clothing and close-toed shoes. A hat may be helpful given we’ll be outdoors, and the location may be sunny. Do bring a jacket as the weather may be variable and bring a bottle of water.

Can I do this with my family or friends?

Absolutely! Email me or reach out and we can chat more about your situation.

Is there an age limit?

We’re currently offering Equine Assisted Coaching for those 13 and older. For teenagers in a world full of digital interactions and pressures, this is a wonderful way for a teenager to create space, connect, and communicate safely with a partner.

Do you offer team events with horses?

Yes. Equine assisted coaching is very effective for teams to reflect and learn about communication, leadership, energy, and team dynamics. We can plan for equine assisted activities at your offsite - see our offsite planning services.
